A bit of history:
A few years ago I made some t-shirts for the band in which I play the washboard, The Crawfish Blues Band. Being somewhat of an artist this task came naturally and turned out to be a fun thing to do, so I designed a few more... and was hooked!
One thing led to another and now my better half as well as a few close friends also contribute their advice and funny ideas!
Although at first designs came, and went, in a relatively rattlebrained way with many, often unrelated, themes, slowly the music related designs began to take priority over the others. Since then it has been an ongoing challenge to get the store organized so that the designs are easy to find, and there is still a lot of work to do for that to be achieved. For instance, the subsections for goodies that seemed smart 2 years ago all have to be removed now that the products are automatically organized on the products pages. Nevertheless I am thankful for every small improvement that is made as well as feeling that my designs have improved as well.
My own taste in music obviously seeps out as I do love old blues and jug band music as well as jazz too. Still I'm a product of my time with a place in my heart for an occasional punk overload as well as some headbanging metal.
The t-shirts and other products in this shop are mostly printed by Cafepress, the world's leading print on demand company, chosen for their quality, both print wise as well as for customer service. However I also work with Zazzle and Skreened for certain products since these companies do a very good job as well and offer other products and possibilities like a larger design printing surface.
